Author Interview – LeRon Barton

Have you developed a specific writing style? I have, but I have not quite put a name to it. Stick around and I will let you know. LOL.

What is your greatest strength as a writer? My ability to tell a story.

Have you ever had writer’s block? If so, what do you do about it? I feel that with writers block, I just start writing something else.

Can you share a little of your current work with us? Well I am working on, “All You Need is Love.” It is a book in the vein of Straight Dope, but talking with people about relationships, dating, and love.

How did you come up with the title? I wanted a title that would just “hit you” and also tell you what the book is about. So from that, Straight Dope arrived.

What was the hardest part about writing this book? Finding the people to talk to. It is not easy to find people who wants to talk about their past drug use.

How do you promote this book? Man…. Blog, Facebook, Twitter, videos, writing groups, blog tours. I am trying to do everything I can to let people know about this project.

Will you write others in this same genre? Yes, I plan on writing four books in this style.
